The personal blog of Mauricio Carey. Designed by Mauricio, Developed by me. We spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect and because of that this is still one of my favourite blogs to date.

Mauricio is a huge music aficionado and wanted to integrate some music with posts. So I worked a little magic and built a custom plugin to integrate the Wimpy Audio Player into his site.  He has the option to play a single track or embed a playlist directly into the posts or slideshows that he publishes with the click of a button. Not to mention the playlist in the sidebar.

There’s also a custom slideshow manager that let’s him manage everything from the images, to the music that plays on some of them. And if you’re feeling extra geeky, in the sidebar you will notice a “Word of the day” widget, it pulls a word of the day in from a feed and then adds it to a monthly archive of words.

This is definitely one of those projects that I am proud to have been a part of.
